Creative Crafts Course Description
Prerequisite: Studio Art
Length: Half year
Creative Crafts is a hands-on course designed to give students opportunities to develop skills in a variety of craft techniques. The course delves into the history of each craft and its application to today’s society. In using a variety of media, students will express creativity while also addressing the utilitarian function and aesthetic qualities of their creations. Some examples of the skills that may be developed include; papermaking, batik, and weaving.
