Project Cost Summary

Breaking down the costs in such finite detail is a complex and difficult thing to do. In addition to raw construction estimates, the total referendum amount includes "soft costs" associated with the project that the State Education Department calls "Incidental Costs" (architectural/engineering fees, construction manager fees, attorney fees, bonding costs, etc.). The Facilities Committee has evaluated the project scope and recommended to the Board of Education what they believe is a solid, feasible, financially prudent, and much needed project. The Board has accepted this recommendation, believes it to be the proper scope and budget, and brought this plan to you, the voters.

The below breakdown includes those "soft costs" mentioned above (construction plus incidental):

  • Elementary School: $7,440,000
  • MS/HS: $14,500,000
  • Storage/Concession: $170,000
  • Bus Garage: $5,250,000

Total Referendum amount: $27,360,000
