Holley Interact Club Looking for Donations of New Hygiene Products

The Holley Interact Club is collecting items for Sample Soap for our end of the year project. Sample Soap is a Rochester, NY organization that collects unopened hygiene products to give to a variety of individuals within the community. Sample Soap distributes these items to the homeless, survivors of domestic and sexual violence, AIDs survivors, and refugees. Since 1990, they have distributed over 70,000 pounds of toiletries to Rochester’s neediest citizens.
Donated products can be regular or trial size (for example, personal care items from hotel rooms, salons, dentists, vendors, etc). Collection boxes will be placed in the main offices at both schools.  The Holley Interact Club will be going to Sample Soap in April to help pack and distribute donated items.
The Interact Club is a group of more than 50 students in grades 7-12 who focus solely on community service and trying to make the world a better place on a local and global level. We greatly appreciate any donations. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of others!
