Incoming ninth and 10th grade students who have completed Algebra 1 are invited to attend the free Summer Advanced Manufacturing Experience (SAME) program at the Career & Technical Education Center at BOCES 2 in Spencerport this summer. Students will gain experience with advanced/smart manufacturing, CNC machining, mills, lathes, blueprint reading, CAD/CAM, fusion, etc. and earn three Monroe Community College (MCC) credits at no charge. Students will participate in fieldtrips to industry partners and MCC.
This program is held July 8-26 on Mondays-Thursdays from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at 3589 Big Ridge Road, Spencerport, NY.
