Summer Blood Drive on August 5
The High School Student Council is sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, August 5, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the MS/HS Dining Hall. Please consider donating, the need is great.

Donations must be made by appointment only; schedule one online at https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive or call 1-800-RED CROSS. All donors must wear a mask and need to use Rapid Pass to pre-register for their appointment: https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/manage-my-donations/rapidpass.html

To review the American Red Cross' complete COVID-19 protocols, please visit their website: https://www.redcrossblood.org/

There are two types of donations being collected at our blood drive:
  • Power Red: A Power Red donation collects red cells, but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibility requirements and have type A Neg, B Neg or O blood.
  • Blood: The most common type of donation, during which approximately a pint of "whole blood" is given. This type of blood donation usually takes about an hour.

If you have any questions, please contact Jim Di Sessa at [email protected] or 585-507-1623.
