On April 6, Governor Cuomo announced that all New York State schools are to remain closed until April 29. It was also announced that the Board of Regents plans to cancel all Regents exams for this year.
There is an expectation that specific guidance from the NY State Education Department will be sent to districts either April 7 or 8 regarding the cancellation of Regents exams. Once we have more information about what this means for our students, particularly regarding course credits and graduation requirements, a follow-up communication will be sent out.
Once again, thank you for your continued patience, understanding and cooperation at this time.
Stay healthy, Holley.
Sincerely,
Brian Bartalo
Superintendent of Schools
