Greetings Holley Families,

This weekend, we received what appeared to be an anonymous message, which was submitted through our district website. The message indicated that there was a possible threat to safety at school, so we followed up on it.

The Holley Police Department investigated, and through their resources, found out that the threat came from an area near Houston, TX. Upon further research, it was discovered that there is a school called Holley Elementary near the source of the message.  

Although they discovered the source of the threat to be in Texas, out of an abundance of caution, we had a police presence with our maintenance staff, patrolling and checking out our district today. After thorough investigation, it was determined that our campus is safe and will remain open.

We will check our schools for anything suspicious early tomorrow morning. I want to thank the Holley PD, our maintenance staff and administration for responding so quickly to ensure that we have a safe campus.
