Dear Teaching Staff:

In a very short time, we will be entering a new era in public education in NYS with the onset of the APPR, Common Core Curricula, SLOs, Dignity For All Students Act, and the anti-bullying legislation just signed by the Governor. All of these will require us to take on a new perspective with regard to instruction and school climate. However, our main goal must always be quality instruction since that is the main reason for our existence. With this in mind, please find at right some very good information that has been successfully implemented by high performing schools. Please review it carefully and feel free to combine this information with what you are already doing in your classroom.
