A major goal of Writers & Books (W&B) is to make their summer programs accessible to all children regardless of location, transportation and/or ability to pay. This year, they are offering 51 programs through virtual programming. Students who live in more distant locations are able to participate fully as long as they have access to the internet and a device. Additionally, W&B has established a significant scholarship fund to assist students with program fees.
Below are two documents that introduce their summer programs. Please note that the catalog was designed
prior to COVID-19; however, all classes will be delivered virtually. The online offerings are listed by age group at
https://wab.org/youth-programs/summerwrite-2020/. Only pencil and paper are required for most classes. In cases where extra supplies are needed, W&B will provide those via mail or pick-up station.
