As of March 15, this information was shared with students' families:
- Parents/guardians may come to school to pick up their child's medication, instructional materials or personal belongings between the hours of 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday, March 16-Friday, March 20. Parents must sign in at the main office. No students are allowed in the buildings due to the state of emergency conditions established by the county and state. If parents need assistance picking up their child's materials, please contact the main office of the appropriate school. If we are able to expand the pick-up hours for parents, we will communicate those changes.
- Free "grab & go" breakfast and lunch meals will be provided to district students age 18 and younger during the time school is closed. Complete the survey to register for this program: http://bit.ly/HCSDFood. Distribution will begin on Wednesday, March 18, from 8-10 a.m. at five sites identified in the survey; both meals will be picked up at once. If you have questions about this program, contact the appropriate school or our food service office at 638-6318, ext. 2566.
- At-home learning activities for students are being prepared by teachers. We are working on getting this information out to families. Daily reading is encouraged in addition to any school work done at home.
- During the school closure, all Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and Special Education services are postponed. We will communicate any updates to families as soon as information is available. If you have questions, please contact your student's school administrator or the Special Programs Office at 638-6316, ext. 2401.
- During the school closure, our buildings will be cleaned and sanitized.
