Here's the fifth of a series of articles that captured what happened in June at the end of the 2019-20 school year. Note: Photos of students, staff and families were taken following appropriate coronavirus measures that were in place at that time.
The ES front loop was a popular spot for ceremonies in June. Sixth graders had their Moving Up Ceremony there, too. Students drove through the loop with their families, stopping to pick up their diplomas, memory books, cupcakes and goody bags; drop off devices they borrowed for remote learning in the spring; and participate in two photo opportunities. They posed in front of the Holley Hawks backdrop with their diplomas for solo photos, and photos with family and teachers. They also had an opportunity to pose with the Holley Hawk mascot as their final stop in the loop. Congratulations to these students and keep an eye on the future Class of 2026!
