Free and Reduced Price Meal Program

Free and Reduced Price Meal Program

Please note: for the 2023-24 school year, Free and Reduced Price Meal Applications are not required, as all students in the district are eligible for free breakfast and lunch meals on days that school is in full session.

Eligible parents and guardians are encouraged to apply for free or reduced price meals for their children. The classification of "free/reduced" is confidential information, and the district's student ID card system has been specifically designed to ensure anonymity to participants of this program. The system also provides the Food Service Director with an automated method of accounting and reporting to the federal government, which saves the district time and money.

If you receive food stamps or Aid to Dependent Children (ADC), you may receive a letter in August from the Department of Social Services that will simplify the process for your child or children to receive free meals at school.

If you take or send the letter to the school secretary, your child/children will receive free meals without your having to complete an application. You will only receive one letter.  If you lose it, it will not be replaced. If you do not return the letter to the Food Service Director, you must fill out the Free & Reduced Price Meal Application in order for your children to get free or reduced price meals. To access the application, click the link at right.
